I disagree. For me, writing a book is more like having an entire box of Candy Cane Joe Joes in the freezer. I will not stop until I’ve eaten the entire box. I can’t stand the thought of them just sitting there, uneaten, waiting to be eaten. Just like, with a story, it’s always on my mind, and I can’t stop writing until I exorcise the damn thing from my head.

God help you all when I’m writing a book *and* have a box of those pernicious cookies in the freezer.
